Bass fishing is heating up on the lake. Chatter Baits and Jerk Baits are producing well. The Baits need to be pearl color to get the shad look. Start fishing banks sun hits first as the water warms up first. Blue sky days throw crank baits. Afternoons fishing will start to slow down and switch to jig around brush and docks. Most fish will be shallow and close to the banks hunting for spawning areas. Wacky rigged Senko style bait can be deadly too. The weather is getting warmer every day. It’s only going to get better as they move up to spawn!
